(Dan Tri) – The UK Delegation to ASEAN and the ASEAN Secretariat launched the ASEAN – UK Economic Integration Program (EIP) on April 25 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This initiative will be implemented over 4 years with a value of up to 25 million pounds (more than 31 million USD), aiming to promote economic growth across the region by addressing development barriers in the region.
The EIP is a comprehensive initiative designed to promote economic integration of the ASEAN region.
In addition, the program will unlock the potential of digitalization – an important driver of global economic growth – across the ASEAN region and focus on supporting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
The EIP program will be implemented across all 10 ASEAN member countries and Timor-Leste, focusing on three main areas: Supporting regulatory reform, facilitating economic and trade activities;
