(Dan Tri) – The Israeli army announced evidence supporting the suspicion that Hamas held hostages under a children’s hospital in Gaza.

Israel posted a photo accusing Hamas of storing weapons and holding hostages under a children’s hospital in Gaza.

Reuters reported that on November 13, Israel posted a photo of what it described as Hamas storing weapons in the basement of a children’s hospital in Gaza.

Israeli military spokesman, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, said Tel Aviv had found a facility suspected of being a Hamas command center with an arsenal of weapons including grenades, explosive vests for suicide attacks and

`And we also found signs that Hamas has held hostages here. This is being investigated by us. But we also have intelligence information,` he said in a televised news conference.

Mr. Hagari released a video of what he suspects to be quite rudimentary living quarters, including a small kitchen as well as a nearby tunnel that he said leads to the home of a senior Hamas naval commander.

`Hamas has taken control of this entire area and is waging war against the Israelis from this hospital,` he alleged.

In addition, the Israeli army also found a motorcycle with bullet holes that Mr. Hagari said appeared to have been used to take hostages to Gaza after the October 7 surprise attack by Hamas that left 1,200 people dead.

In retaliation, Israel launched an intense bombing of Gaza and followed it up with a ground campaign against the narrow strip of land, killing more than 11,000 people, most of them civilians.

On November 13, Israeli tanks appeared outside the gates of Al Shifa hospital, the main hospital in Gaza, where hundreds of patients are still waiting to be evacuated.

Previously, Israel has repeatedly accused Hamas of using hospitals and other civilian infrastructure to hide command centers and weapons depots as well as using civilians and patients in hospitals as `shields`.

Hamas and hospitals in Gaza deny that medical facilities are used in this way.

According to observers, Israel is under pressure from world public opinion about the way it conducted the attack in Gaza when too many civilians died and faced a humanitarian disaster due to Tel Aviv tightening the blockade.

Many people believe that Tel Aviv has the right to defend itself against being attacked first by Hamas, but Israel does not have the right to harm the lives of innocent civilians.

The United Nations has called on Israel to stop attacks on health care facilities in Gaza.

However, with Israel tightening the blockade, hospitals in Gaza face the risk of closing due to lack of fuel, putting the lives of many patients and injured civilians in danger.
