(Dan Tri) – Despite opening the score early and having a dominant position, the German team still allowed Turkey to come back and defeat them 3-2 in the friendly match that took place at dawn on the 19th.

After only 5 minutes, striker Kai Havertz opened the score for Germany after an extremely quick strike in the penalty area.

The early goal helped the German team play confidently and continue to create great pressure on the away team’s defense, however Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan continuously missed opportunities to double the gap for the home team.

After more than half an hour of great pressure from their opponents, the Turkish away team suddenly rose up strongly and scored two consecutive goals before the first half ended.

This is a situation where Leroy Sane was so engrossed in attacking on the right wing that he did not have time to cover the German defense.

Just before the end of the half, Kaan Ayhan had a pass from the right wing for 18-year-old striker Kenan Yıldız to take advantage of with a shot that hit both the crossbar and the post and went into the net before the helplessness of goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, helping Türkiye entered the halftime break with a score of 2-1.

Entering the second half, the German team raised their team high in search of an equalizer, but they scored thanks to a quick counterattack from near the end of the home field’s left touchline.

That was the situation in which Florian Wirtz dribbled the ball across more than half the field and then passed it to Fullkrug on the left wing to make a near-angle shot that beat goalkeeper Altay Bayindir.

However, in the 71st minute, striker Kai Havertz became a criminal when he let the ball touch his hand in the penalty area after trying to block a pass from the away team’s player.

This is also the first home defeat of coach Julian Nagelsmann after 8 months leading the `Tank` and makes German fans feel disappointed when they are the host of the Euro 2024 finals next summer.
