(Dan Tri) – Russia’s Sputnik newspaper published an analysis by military expert Andrei Kotz listing the best cruise missiles and ballistic missiles in Moscow’s military inventory.
Kh-15 missile
Kh-15 missile.
The Kh-15 air-launched ballistic missile, capable of carrying nuclear warheads, was put into service with the Soviet Air Force in the 1980s, considered a counterweight to the US AGM-69 SRAM missile.
If the AGM-69 only has a nuclear warhead version, the Kh-15 also has a variant with a conventional warhead.
One of the outstanding features of the Kh-15 is its flight trajectory.
However, the Kh-15’s limitation is its short attack range, making it suitable for battlefields when opponents are not strictly protected by long-range air defense systems.
Based on the original version, the Soviet Union and Russia later developed the Kh-15P and Kh-15S variants.
Kh-32 missile

The Kh-32 supersonic anti-ship cruise missile is an improved variant of the Kh-22 missile, a weapon designed for the same purpose.
Compatible with Tu-16K, Tu-22K, Tu-22M2/3 and Tu-95K aircraft, the Kh-22 can be launched from a distance of up to 600km from the target, mainly to challenge maritime superiority.
The weakness of the Kh-22 is its low resistance to interference.
With a range of up to 1,000 km and a speed of more than 5,000 km/h, the Kh-32 can carry both conventional and nuclear warheads.
Missile Kh-555

Since the mid-2000s, the Raduga Institute has continued to produce a new missile model, the Kh-555, replacing the Kh-55 and Kh-55SM versions from the 1980s.
The Kh-555 is considered a terrifying threat to all opponents as it can be fired from a safe distance, beyond the range of the enemy’s defense system.
The Kh-555 has now been upgraded with a satellite navigation system, an optical-electronic aiming system and a Doppler navigation system, helping to increase accuracy 5 times.
Missile Kh-101

The Kh-101 is a variant of the Kh-55, currently the `core` and modern weapon of the Russian air force.
Although there is not much information about this missile, the Kh-101 is expected to use a combined inertial and opto-electronic navigation system, allowing it to receive data about flight routes and target coordinates.
With a range of about 5,000km, Western experts believe that the Kh-101 is very difficult to intercept.
